What courses does ILM offer?

ILM specialises in leadership, management, and coaching and mentoring. They also offer a range of sector and skill-specific qualifications.

ILM levels and the equivalent level of qualification:

  • ILM Level 3 = NVQ Level 3 or A-Levels.
  • ILM Level 5 = The first and second year of an undergraduate degree or a diploma of higher education
  • ILM Level 6 = The third year of an undergraduate degree or BTEC advanced professional diplomas.
  •  ILM Level 7 = Postgraduate certificates or Masters degrees.

ILM levels and the equivalent management level (practising or aspiring to this level):

  • ILM Level 3 = Junior manager, first-line manager, or supervisor.
  • ILM Level 5 = Middle manager.
  • ILM Level 6 = Senior manager or director of a small organisation.
  •  ILM Level 7 = Senior leader, CEO, or director of large divisions.
