At its core, an apprenticeship is on the job learning and training. Learners who undertake an apprenticeship can learn essential skills relevant to their chosen career path whilst earning a salary. If that wasn’t enough at the end of the training you can also earn yourself a qualification.
In the past apprenticeships were exclusively for young adults in the trade industry. But times have changed and thanks to new government incentives, anybody over the age of 16 can now enter into an apprenticeship. There are also thousands of industries and professions that deliver apprenticeships, from plumber to cyber analyst.
Apprenticeships have different levels associated with them, these equate to the skill and complexity of the course.

When you become an apprentice you are an official employee of that company. With a contract and holiday leave.
80 percent of your time as an apprentice is spent working in your place of work, and the remaining 20 percent is classed as off the job learning. That’s where we come in. We provide the training in that 20 percent. This consists of one on one training sessions, seminars, virtual classrooms, or webinars, along with identifying workplace opportunities to apply your new knowledge and develop your skills. All of our trainers are industry professionals with years of experience in their fields.
Depending on the apprenticeship you choose, the duration could be anything from 12 months up to 4 years. The skills you learn on an apprenticeship are akin to the skills you learn from university or college.
